Ariadne, Office Manager
Client communication and education is a major part of Ariadne’s responsibilities as a Office Manager here at Advanced Veterinary Medical Center. She is also responsible for checking our clients and patients in and out of our facility, acupuncture, monitoring anesthesia, taking x-rays, performing dental prophylaxn, helping with pharmacy needs, organizing and cleaning our hospital, assisting with patient treatments, and much more. What Ariadne finds most enjoyable about working with us is her ability to serve as a good leader or teacher to anyone help or more information about their pet and the veterinary care we provide.
Ariadne possesses an associate degree in veterinary technology and has been working in the animal-related field for over 5 years. She joined the Advanced Veterinary Medical Center team in August of 2018 and has proven herself to be an incredible resource for our clients and their pets.
“I enjoy working with my coworkers,” Ariadne says. “I feel as though we really get along great, therefore the environment here is very positive and we work really well together.”
Away from the hospital Ariadne enjoys spending time with her loved ones and friends and going to the beach or to the park with her dogs. She owns a Maltese mix named Woobie, and a Rottweiler named Moose.
Nicholas Grant, Veterinary Assistant
Providing experienced and compassionate veterinary care is a daily practice for Nicholas, one of our incredible Veterinary Assistants who joined the AVMC team part-time in June of 2018. Nick has been working in the animal-related field for over 7 years, and loves working with animals and their owners. Some of Nick’s daily responsibilities include checking our clients and patients into our facility, monitoring patients, overseeing boarding pets, and helping the team and our veterinarians with anything he can to optimize patient and client care.
Nick is a great multi-tasker with an admirable work ethic. Each day he brings with him a motivation and genuine care of our clients, their pets, and our amazing veterinary staff. “The staff is really friendly and very inviting,” Nick says. “The environment here is a good one.”
At home, Nick owns a rescued Husky mix named Leroy Jenkins who he loves dearly. He enjoys taking his dog out for outdoor activities like hiking, going to the lake or river, or just going for walks. In his spare time, Nick likes exploring and finding new places. He also likes shopping, browsing, and playing games.
